Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Online Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

A 'more' 'info' 'related' or 'surcharge' link indicates extra information is available to view by clicking the link.

To remove items or change quantities in the shopping cart, during the ordering process, use 'view cart' link, to change at checkout 'click on cancel' and then use the 'view cart' link as above.

We accept credit card payment and most debit cards. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Solo cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

Any orders where credit card details are to be sent separately will be automatically cancelled if no details are recieved after 14 days

Despatch And Handling

Whilst our express despatch, mail order service is the obvious choice for many MG owners, MGOC Spares now offers a reserve and collect feature for shop visitors. This addition is aimed at reducing shop counter queuing times, and will prove useful to owners planning a visit to MGOC HQ in the near future.

Orders may be placed online in the normal way then when checking out select 'UK - Reserve & Collect' as your country in the Invoice address form. The goods will be charged in full on collection. We will contact you to advise of any out of stocks and have the goods readied ahead of your arrival.

Please Note; Goods will be reserved for a maximum period of 72 hours, after which carriage will be charged and the order posted (unless special arrangements have been made via email/telephone). Please present a copy of your internet order when collecting the goods.

Standard Mainland & Mainland Express delivery options do not apply to the following areas: Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles or Isle of Wight. Customers who require delivery to these destinations, should select carriage relative to location or chose First Class Mail for non bulky orders, weighing less than 1kg and below 40 in value. Delivery times are typically extended by one to two working days for these destinations.

MGOC Spares reserves the right to select alternative couriers or alter carriage charges as it sees fit. For large multiple parcel consignment exceeding 25kg, additional charges may apply. We will of course discuss any increase to the nominal carriage charge with you prior to despatch of goods.

The shipping of International/Non UK orders, including Channel Islands will not be recorded on your order at checkout, these charges will be confirmed by email before processing.

Please note that although the Royal Mail aim to deliver First Class Mail on a next working day basis, it is not a guaranteed service. First Class Mail options to do not apply to bulky items, orders exceeding 1kg in weight or above 40 in value, such items must be couriered and may be charged at additional expense. Customers are advised that whilst MGOC Spares makes every effort to ensure same day despatch of First Class Mail orders, this cannot be relied upon. If an order is time sensitive, please select from one of the express carriage options when proceeding to checkout.

Internet orders placed before 4pm are despatched the same day. Orders received after this time will be despatched on the next working day. If any items are of an urgent nature we advise that you call to confirm stock availability.

Please note that failure to select a carriage option which is relevant to the delivery address, type of component ordered and exceeds the weight or dimension limitations of carriage as described, may delay or even prevent the despatch of your order. Aerosols not for personal grooming or medicinal purposes:-

Including spray paints, lacquers, solvents, air fresheners, oven cleaners, etc.

Corrosive substances:-

Substances which can cause severe damage to living tissue, other freight or transport by its chemical action are prohibited including aluminium chloride, caustic soda, corrosive cleaning fluid, dyes, acids, corrosive paint and rust removers, mercury and gallium metal.

Flammable liquids:-

This includes mixtures of liquids or liquids containing solids in solution or suspension which give off a flammable vapour and includes acetone, benzene, cleaning compounds, lighter fuel, paint thinners and removers, petroleum, solvents, varnishes, enamels and nail varnish removers.

To comply with these regulations; all products falling into the above categories will be despatched by services other than Royal Mail by default.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT at the current rate is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

If you do not wish to enter your credit card number you can still order using the online facility but at the payment stage pick the advise credit card details separately then contact us direct with the details during office hours.
Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. all accessories are guaranteed against defects in materials, workmanship and faults in manufacturing for 12 months from invoice date. If any item is found to be defective then we you should contact us imediately. Items that have been misused, neglected, incorrectly installed or caused by the failure of another component are not covered.

Returns Policy Any item correctly supplied as ordered, subsequently found to be no longer required or ordered by mistake may be returned to us for exchange or credit, items returned for credit will incur a handling charge of 15% to cover administration costs. However this charge is waived if the value is to be offset against another order.

Items returned must be accompanied by supporting documentation ie copy of original invoice.
