Brexit Update

Export Duty Charges:

Due to the need for additional documentation to meet new EU Customs requirements & in light of the current restrictions placed on staff movements to maintain safe operating practice during the global Covid-19 pandemic, our processing and dispatch of orders will take longer than usual.

Importantly, the processing of the export documentation by carriers will be chargeable by them, together with duty for any parts manufactured outside of the UK, and VAT at the rate payable in the country of receipt. In common with all other exporters to the EU, such charges are unavoidable and not calculable in advance.

The UK left the European Union on 31 December 2020 (Brexit), we would like to reassure all of our members and customers in the EU that we will still be able to ship orders directly to you as before. Our systems and carriers are fully prepared and will provide a smooth Brexit transition into 2021.

We will no longer charge Tax (VAT) on orders to customers in the EU. Instead, our carriers will make the customs entry for you and advise of local Tax and any Duty that is due, prior to delivery. These amounts can be paid directly to the carrier, making the transaction simple and easy for you. For orders sent to Northern Ireland, duty charges do not apply and VAT will be collected when ordering as before.
