Front Telescopic Damper Conversion Kits

Replacing the original Armstrong lever-arm front dampers with telescopic dampers is a well-proven modification, offering improved suspension response, ride quality and handling consistency while retaining the original suspension geometry. MGOC Spares offers complete conversion kits suitable for MGB, GT & V8 models from three established manufacturers: Koni, with oil-filled dampers renowned for quality and longevity; GAZ, featuring nitrogen gas-filled dampers with 32-position adjustment; and SPAX Krypton, offering 28-position adjustment for precise control of damping characteristics. All three kits are supplied complete with the required conversion bracketry, mounting hardware and stainless braided brake hoses, providing everything required for the conversion. MGB Starter Motor

MGOC Spares is pleased to offer an improved specification small-bodied pre-engaged starter motor from Q Parts. Suitable for MGBs from 1967 onwards, the improved small-bodied unit is not only easier to fit than the original Lucas unit but also offers increased cranking capacity whilst drawing less power from the car’s battery. MGA Coil Springs

For many years some suppliers have recommended early MGB front coil springs as replacements for the MGA. However, these springs are taller and softer than the original MGA specification, often leaving the car sitting too high at the front and giving slightly wallowy front-end handling. MGOC Spares is pleased to have commissioned correctly specified front coil springs, manufactured in the UK to the original specification and rated at 480lb with an 8.88” free length. Offered under part number AHH5546, these springs are suitable for MGA 1500 models from chassis 15152 onwards and all 1600 models, priced at £34.75 each. For early MGA 1500 models up to chassis 15151 we offer MM264-330, while Twin Cam models require AHH5789. MGF/TF Sunvisor Upgrade

Tired of your MGF/TF sunvisors snapping at the hinge? The original plastic design, rumoured to have been inspired by leftover Airfix ‘sprigs’, is notorious for breaking. MGOC Spares is pleased to offer a replacement Sunvisor Upgrade designed to blend seamlessly with your MGs original interior, manufactured in the UK from tough ABS plastic with a clever slide-out design. Chrome Speaker Bezel & Mesh

After a long period of non-availability, MGOC Spares is pleased to offer replacement bright alloy speaker bezel and mesh for MGB/C models. Manufactured from new tooling based on original samples, the mesh faithfully replicates the original chain-stitched design. Suitable for GHN3/GHD3 and GHN4/GHD4/5 models through chassis 258000 (1962–1971 approx.). Offered separately as AHH6753 Mesh at £26.95 and AHH6742 Chrome Bezel £46.95.
