4.0 Litre V8 Engines

MGOC Spares is holding limited stock of hard to find, cross-bolted, large main bearing 4.0Ltr V8 engines (part number G557STRIP), providing an ideal basis from which to build your very own performance MGB V8 conversion. Delivering excellent torque throughout the rev range with estimated power in excess of 200 Bhp. Remanufactured engines benefit from new camshafts, rocker assemblies, crankshaft liners, pistons, con-rods and chain sets. V8 engines are supplied outright with no exchange necessary priced at £5,085, plus delivery. Supplied bare, with front timing cover, rocker covers, carburettor, manifold, ignition etc, available at additional cost.

Front Brake Disc Kit for MG RV8

MGOC Spares is pleased to offer owners of the MG RV8 a comprehensive front brake disc kit, under part number BDK10, designed to restore reliable stopping power and deliver excellent value. The kit includes a pair of high-quality vented front brake discs with Geomet coating for improved corrosion resistance, a set of Q Parts uprated ceramic brake pads manufactured with a modern ultra-low dust ceramic compound that is kind to brake disc rotors, resists fade and helps keep your wheels cleaner for longer, and a set of RV8 brake pad retaining clips manufactured from black electro-coated spring steel, together with retaining pins and lock tabs. MGA 1500 Brake Conversion

MG Motorsport Sebring Arches

In 1964 the MG works-supported MGB entries competing in the famous 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race in Florida. Prepared with lightweight panels and distinctive flared wheel arches, the cars were developed to reduce weight, improve aerodynamics and accommodate wider wheels and tyres for improved grip and endurance. These purposeful Sebring-style flared arches soon became one of the most recognisable styling cues associated with competition MGBs and have remained synonymous with historic racing, inspiring hundreds of Sebring-style MGB builds ever since. MGOC Spares is pleased to offer genuine MG Motorsport Sebring flared wheel arches, as used on their unbeatable Sebring MGB and MGC evocations. Manufactured from glass fibre, they are supplied as a set of four arches for pop riveting or bonding to the steel wings and are designed to fit with the existing front and rear valances. With production of previously approved tyres being phased out, MGOC Spares has gone the extra mile to support owners with a qualified tyre following open and closed circuit testing. Lucas "Round" Relay

Original equipment ‘Round-Bodied’ Lucas 26RA Starter and Ignition relay, specified on late model MGBs from 1976 onwards have been unavailable for many years, and are now back in stock priced at £17.45 each and offered under part number CHM68.

MGA Coil Springs

For many years some suppliers have recommended early 
MG MGB front coil springs as replacements for the MG MGA. However, these springs are taller and softer than the original MGA specification, often leaving the car sitting too high at the front and giving slightly wallowy front-end handling. MGOC Spares is pleased to have commissioned correctly specified front coil springs, manufactured in the UK to the original specification and rated at 480lb with an 8.88” free length. Offered under part number AHH5546, these springs are suitable for MGA 1500 models from chassis 15152 onwards and all 1600 models, priced at £34.75 each. For early MGA 1500 models up to chassis 15151 we offer MM264-330, while Twin Cam models require AHH5789.
