Cars from 1962 to 1970 used a pinch clamp rear mounting arrangement, while from 1970 onwards a saddle bracket was adopted and carried over to rubber bumper cars. The exhaust-to-gearbox bracket also differs between 3-synchro gearbox cars (1962 to 1967), 4-synchro chrome bumper cars (1967 to 1974), and 4-synchro rubber bumper cars (1974 to 1980).
