Interior trim kits are manufactured in the UK by Newton Commercial, recreating original patterns with meticulous attention to detail using UK-sourced materials. Standard and bespoke interiors are available, bespoke kits can be created to a customer's own style and colour scheme from an extensive range of options.
Trim Kits, Door Panels and Cockpit Liners
The Original specification trim kit contains all footwell liners, door liners, sill liners, rear quarter liners, the rear cockpit liner, and material for recovering door cappings, the fascia crash rail, and B-posts. These kits faithfully reproduce the factory trim pattern for the relevant production period and are available in the full range of colours. The Club specification trim kit provides an upgraded alternative with carpeted lower door sections and contrasting piping, offering a more premium appearance. When purchasing a Club trim kit, a supplementary panel set is required to complete the installation.
Door cards can be purchased in pairs, early Midget door cards (1967 to 1969) were secured using trim screws and cup washers, while later door cards use plastic trim panel retaining clips. The correct fixing method should be confirmed before ordering. Waterproof door curtains fitted behind the door cards protect the trim from water entering through the window channel.
Door Cappings and Seals
Door cappings are available in padded vinyl or in veneer finishes including burr walnut, black walnut, and carbon fibre.
Trimming Vinyl
Trimming vinyl is available for owners undertaking their own interior recovering work. This allows individual panels, cappings, or trim sections to be recovered without purchasing a complete trim kit, useful for repairing localised damage or replacing a single worn panel. The vinyl is supplied in the correct grain and weight to match the Newton Commercial trim kits, ensuring a consistent appearance when a single panel is renewed alongside existing trim.
