Tyre and wheel packages combine a set of wheels with correctly matched tyres, supplied fitted and balanced, ready to bolt directly onto the car. This is the most convenient and cost-effective way to upgrade the Midget’s wheel and tyre specification in a single purchase, as the package ensures the tyre size is correctly matched to the wheel width, the overall rolling diameter is compatible with the car’s speedometer calibration and suspension geometry, and the wheels arrive ready to fit without a separate trip to the tyre fitter.
Wire Wheels
Packages are available with alloy wheels and wire wheels in various sizes, paired with tyres in the standard 145SR13 specification or the wider 155/70R13 alternative. The wider tyre provides a larger contact patch for improved grip, with a slightly lower profile that gives a sportier appearance. For alloy wheels in 14-inch diameter, appropriate tyre sizes are matched to the rim width.

When selecting a package, the car’s existing hub specification (steel wheel hubs, wire wheel hubs, or alloy-specific fitment) must be confirmed to ensure the wheels are compatible. Packages are supplied fitted and balanced, for wire wheels, this includes balancing on dedicated wire wheel balancing cones for accurate centring.
