Brake Drums and Shoes Brake drums and brake shoes are stocked across the major applications, with leading-and-trailing or twin-leading shoe arrangements depending on the original specification. Drum brake hardware, return springs, hold-down springs, hold-down pins, adjusters and shoe-to-shoe links, is stocked alongside the drums and shoes themselves. Replacing drum hardware as part of a shoe change is good practice, particularly on cars that have been off the road for a period. Master Cylinders and Wheel Cylinders Master cylinders in single-circuit and dual-circuit specifications are stocked across the major applications, with reconditioned-exchange options alongside new units. Wheel cylinders for drum brakes, in single and twin-piston configurations, are stocked in matched pairs for axle replacement. Master cylinder and wheel cylinder seal kits are available for owners who prefer to rebuild rather than replace, where the cylinder bores are within service tolerance. Brake Lines and Hoses Brake pipes in original-pattern steel and copper-nickel are stocked, alongside ready-made flexible hoses in original rubber and stainless braided constructions. Stainless braided hoses are a popular upgrade, they expand less under pedal pressure than rubber hoses, providing a sharper pedal feel, and they typically have a longer service life. Brake fluid in DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 specifications is stocked alongside the hardware.
