MGOC Spares stock the genuine AP inline non-return valve designed to maintain vacuum in the brake servo in the event of breakdown. The valve is also effective on early MGBs (up to 69) fitted with a brake servo upgrade and the original ‘mushroom’ breather system. These early cars can suffer from contamination of the brake servo due to the close proximity of the vacuum hose and engine breather which allows oil to be drawn into the servo on engine shut down. The in-line non return valve also prevents fuel vapour contaminating the servo with petrol deposits.
