Note: Manufacturers introduced voltage stabilisers to reduce gauge "flicking" and improve reading accuracy. These were fitted as standard on MGB models from 1964 and Midgets from 1967. A voltage stabiliser may be retrofitted to earlier vehicles to enhance gauge performance and should be wired in before the gauge.
Due to the scarcity of supply, early bi-metallic fuel gauges have until now been offered on a customer own unit reconditioned basis only. MGOC Spares is pleased to now offer new outright early bi-metallic fuel gauges manufactured in the UK offered with either the Smiths or Jaeger dial face. Jaeger dial face MGA 1500 14090on, 1600 and Twin Cam. Replacement Sender Unit and Volrage Stabiliser also required.
