MG heaters are notoriously ineffective, so to improve their performance we have developed a new two-speed high output motor and large impellor which mounts directly to the existing Smiths heater box to provide a vast improvement in air flow. Combine with our high efficiency heater matrix (ARO1994HE), designed with more tubes and fins, for increased cabin heat and windscreen defrost. Original style twin speed blower switch options to suit all years available from stock.
Suitable for MGB/MGC all years and late 1275 (cross flow) Midget only. For later 1976on MGBs with two speed wiring it is necessary to remove the ceramic resistor and plug the hole with a grommet (GHF821). Locate the motor and adaptor plate on the heater case so that the impellor does not foul the internal deflector. In some cases it may be necessary to grind the deflector spot weld in order to bend the deflector away from the imepllor.
Speeds: Red = Full Speed, Grey = Half Speed. Supplied with instructions. For two speed switching use BHA4786 (toggle dash up to 1971) or BHA5113M (Rocker Switch (1972-76). Speed 3200-3700rpm
