Back in stock, Anti-Run On Valves as originally fitted to USA specification MGBs, and Metro A+ engines. Designed to prevent engine ‘run-on’ after switch-off, the valve operates by applying manifold vacuum, starving the combustion chambers of residual fuel vapour and allowing the engine to stop cleanly. An effective solution for otherwise well-tuned engines which suffer occasional run-on after a hot or long drive, particularly where modern fuels can make the problem more noticeable.
