Working in conjunction with Revotec, MGOC Spares are pleased to off er a solid-state fan switch for MGB GT V8s designed to replace the original 'Otter' fan switch which due to its bimetallic design can give rise to inconsistent switching of the electric fans, resulting in battery drain and a cooling system which is out of balance. Manufactured in the UK, the new switch incorporates Revotec's tried and tested fan controller circuit giving accurate and precise temperature control of 3°C (fans on at 90°C and off at 87°C). This allows the vehicle's thermostat to open at 82°C for effective heat exchange between the radiator and the engine when driving before the electric fans switch on. The switch includes pre-assembled wiring harness, relay, cork gasket and instructions for a straightforward fit. Replaces part numbers BHA5252 & 142169A. Suitable for negative earth vehicles only.
