The rear main scroll type oil seal on a midget crankshaft tis notoriously ineffective, often resulting in a puddle of engine oil under the car; particularly evident when parked on an upward slope. A modern doughnut oil seal conversion is available for 948, 1098 & 1275cc models. Note: should not be used on worn engines, the conversion may require polishing and or machining of the crank and should be installed by a professional engine rebuilder. Kit comprises all fittings, sealant and instructions.
