Developed by Vitesse Global, this conversion uses a brand new Mazda 5 speed gearbox re-engineered for bolt-on fitment. Originally developed for the Mazda MX5; selected for its strength, evenly spaced ratios, light and precise gear changes and incorporating a modern concentric slave cylinder whilst retaining the original gear lever position and mechanical speedo drive. Recommended for road going MGBV8 conversions, with up to 4.6ltr displacement. Kits comprise gearbox and bell housing, clutch friction plate, clutch cover, dust shield, gear lever & knob, slave cylinder, braided clutch pipe, prop shaft, spigot bush, speedo cable & angle drive, gearbox mounting bracket, clutch alignment tool and fixings. Supplied with instructions suitable for DIY installation. Speedo recalibration service available or electronic Smith's speedo and harness available separately.
