The MGF suspension knuckle is a wearing component which locates within the upper suspension arm and slots into the base of all four hydragas units via a tapered pin. The knuckle is designed to move within a nylon cup and is subjected to significant forces transmitted by the rebound and bump compression cycle of the hydragas spheres and movement of the upper suspension arm. Replacing the knuckles when free play is detected is essential to achieving optimum vehicle handling however a sustained period of unavailability has made this difficult.
