MGOC Spares stock new outright alternators suitable for MGF & TF models specified for manual MGFs & MGTFs without air conditioning from chassis YD522573 onwards (approx. 2001 on) and all automatic models. The alternators incorporate a threaded screw hole as per original, to adjust the tension of the drive belt. Please Note: 85amp. Does not have adjuster hole allocation due to corrosion issue on earlier factory units. Dispose of screw and use pry bar to tension belt before tightening main M8 adjuster screw. 2008 onward MGTF: This alternator fits some SAIC manufactured MGTFs from 2008 onwards with air-conditioning. Please inspect the existing alternator for the original part number printed on the back. (Should be printed YLE102430 near the terminal connections)
