Kevin is a lifelong motor engineer and classic car enthusiast who is currently halfway through a restoration of a Grampian Grey MGC GT which he purchased at the Newark Autojumble last year. Kevin told us that he had lusted after an MGC in his teens and he was now able to crack on with the build thanks to our unrivalled product and technical support. With the promise of a cup of tea and a biscuit, we were only too pleased to drop off some MGC gearbox mounts.

Steph and Kevin first met whilst on a film set in 2019 shooting It's A Sin and with their shared enthusiasm for all things classic they soon became besties. They help each other, Steph spurring Kevin on with his builds and Kevin steering Steph in the workshop.

Steph is a notable figure in the classic car community, with an eccentric interest for classic cars and vintage fashion. Best known for her work with her immensely popular Youtube channel, "idriveaclassic", Steph shares reviews, drives, and insights into classic cars from the 50's 60's & 70's. Not one to shy away from practical maintenance, Steph has undertaken a great deal of work on her daily driver "Nancy", a 1968 Morris Minor 1000. Over the last few years, Steph has come to rely on MGOC Spares for essential components; most recently a remanufactured 1098cc unleaded engine supplied on exchange, with 12 month unlimited mileage warranty.

We love Steph because of her unremitting aim to make classic cars more approachable for everyone, regardless of their background or experience. Steph and Kevin are the embodiment of countless multi-generational friendships that arise between young and old enthusiasts due to a shared passion for classic cars, which knit the classic car community together.  Steph’s content includes practical advice on owning and maintaining classic cars, helping to demystify the hobby and encouraging a new, younger generation of owners to step forward.
