Boss Kits & Wheel Centres
The TD and TF-specific boss kit adapts the aftermarket wheel to the column spline, with a multi-drilled boss accommodating six or nine-hole wheels, and various wheel centres in polished aluminium are available, some leaving the mounting screws exposed for a functional appearance and others covering them for a cleaner look, with a classic MG-style centre replicating the design used on early MGB and MGC models.
Horn Push Note
The horn push function integrated into many aftermarket wheel centres is inoperative on the TD and TF, as the horn on these cars is actuated by a separate push, on the dashboard for the TD, changing specification during production, or under the scuttle for the TF. This is a wiring arrangement difference rather than a fault, and it applies to all aftermarket centres regardless of brand.
