The spindle seals are the most critical of these items, when they fail, water finds its way into the scuttle area and, over time, into the linkage pivots and the motor itself. Fresh seals at every motor or linkage replacement are essential. The linkage rack itself sits on a rubber mounting (DLW100040) and is secured by a single bolt (DYP10015).
