GMC1007 Metal Tin Plate Reservoir as original (since 2014) supplied with plastic cap may be used as a direct replacement for the 3 Synchromesh pre 1968 MGB Clutch Master Cylinder (AHH6553) which have not been available for many years. The displacement and operation being the same between both master cylinders,t he only difference being that the GMC1007 is angled relative to the pedal box to allow clearance for the brake master cylinder on later MGBs. If originality is essential then subject to internal condition a repair kit may be used (see GRK3007) to bring AHH6553 into use.
