Please Note: Did you know that MG Midgets could be fitted with one of two track rod ends each with a different track control thread size? For MG Midgets manufactured up to 1972 the track control arm measured 5/8" in diameter. For MG Midgets manufactured from 1972 to end of production, a ½" diameter track control arm was used. The track rod ends are not interchangeable. For cars manufactured around 1972 we recommend that you first measure the diameter of the track control arm before ordering either the 'early' GSJ169 5/8" Track Road End or the 'later' GSJ158 ½" Track Rod End. Note, 'Z' suffixed track rod ends do not include a grease nipple, non 'Z' suffixed track rod ends include a grease nipple for servicing. We recommend applying a liberal coating of Red Rubber Grease to the track rod boot to prolong the life of the rubber.
