The horns section covers both the standard Lucas electric horns and the air horn alternatives. Lucas type WT618 horns in paired high and low note provide the standard audible warning, both horns sound simultaneously to produce the characteristic two-tone. Air horns in triple Targa and double Monza patterns offer a significantly more commanding sound for owners who want to be heard in modern traffic conditions.
Horn Hardware
Horn mounting brackets are side-specific, right-hand and left-hand, and mount to the bulkhead. Flexible mountings between the horn and the bracket isolate vibration from the body structure. All mounting screws, nuts, and spring washers are included. The horn push on the TD changed from a combined horn push and dip switch unit (to chassis 18882) to a separate dedicated push (from chassis 18883).
The TF horn push is mounted under the scuttle on the driver's side.
