Silicone Brake Fluid

Conventional DOT 4 glycol-based brake fluid is hygroscopic, it actively absorbs moisture from the atmosphere through the master cylinder reservoir, flexible hoses, and even through the rubber seals in the wheel cylinders. Over time, this absorbed moisture progressively lowers the fluid's boiling point, increasing the risk of vapour lock under hard braking. In a car that may sit unused for months, the moisture absorption continues unchecked.
Silicone fluid eliminates this problem entirely, it does not absorb moisture, maintaining its performance characteristics regardless of storage duration. It also does not attack paintwork, removing the risk of damage from accidental spills during bleeding or topping up.
Competition Brake Fluid
For cars used in competition or driven hard on track days, Castrol SRF provides the highest dry and wet boiling points of any conventional brake fluid, maintaining pedal feel and resistance to vapour lock under the most demanding braking conditions. This is a significant upgrade from standard DOT 4 for any owner who drives their TD or TF with enthusiasm.
Copper Brake Pipe Kits
The complete copper brake pipe kit replaces the entire rigid pipe system in a single operation.
