Service Your MG

Servicing your own MG can be as much fun as driving it with the added satisfaction of a job well done. Club 12,000 mile service kits include all the essential and best quality replacement servicing components at a fraction of the retail price and are tailored to suit MGB, Midget, MGA and MGC models. Kits comprise NGK spark plugs, Intermotor points & condensers, fuel filter (B models), fan belt, air filters (optional), rocker cover gasket, oil breather cap, SU Carb oil, oil filter and sufficient Castrol Classic XL20w/50 engine oil to carry out an engine oil change. What’s more, this month we’re including a pair of Castrol Classic Oil Workshop Gloves, which feature a PU palm coating for enhanced grip.

MGB Limited Edition Alloy Wheel Offer

MGB Seat Runners

Back in stock, MGOC Spares is holding replacement seat runners for MGBs offered as four-piece sets under part numbers BHH687K (Right Hand) and BHH688K (Left Hand). Specified on MGBs from 1973 on and featuring mounting hole spacing and rollers, suited to the heavier, padded recliner seats found on later chrome bumper and rubber bumper cars. These runners can be used on earlier MGBs but will require modification to the floor pan to accommodate the wider rail footprint. Priced at £54.95 per set.

While many replacement pads claim compatibility, few actually match the original backplate dimensions – we’d seen some which were so undersized they could drop through the caliper casting during fit-up. Our Q Parts ceramic pads are manufactured to original backplate dimensions, ensuring precise fit and quiet, confident braking. High Output Alternator

Brand new 16/17ACR 55 Amp/Hr alternators are offered for outright sale with no exchange necessary. Boasting up to 30% more power over standard units, making them ideal for cars where electronic upgrades demand a higher output from the alternator. Alternators are supplied complete with fan, pulley and plug retaining clip. MGOC Spares also stock the parts to convert earlier models fitted with dynamos to alternators. A Series Engine Bay – It’s All in the Detail!

New to range, MGOC Spares is pleased to offer pressed steel rocker covers for A-Series MG Midget engines. Suitable for 1964-74 MG midgets, with closed circuit/crank case breather system. Finished in authentic BMC Green, true to the original design, these rocker covers are ideal for adding a period appearance under the bonnet. Supplied with a comprehensive fitting kit, comprising chrome rocker cap, sleeve nuts, bushes, cup washers, spacers, and rocker cover gasket. Offered under part number 12G2305Z, priced at only £49.95. Self-adhesive ‘MG’ (BML1005), Weslake Engine (BML1007) and Leyland (BML1006) labels are available separately to complete the look.
