MGB Door & Puddle Lamp Kit

The MGB was not fitted with door-opening warning lamps or puddle lamps as standard equipment. The door and puddle lamp kit adds both functions, a red LED warning lamp visible to traffic approaching from behind when the door is opened, and a clear LED puddle lamp that illuminates the ground below the door sill for the driver and passenger. The kit provides a practical safety improvement for a car that was designed in an era before door-opening warning lamps became standard, and the LED illumination of the sill area makes getting in and out of the car considerably easier in the dark. Fitting is self-contained and requires routing a small loom from the existing door switch circuit.
