Seat cover sets are available for all three Midget seat types in the full range of interior colours. The three types, non-reclining with H-pattern piped backs (1967 to 1968), horizontally pleated reclining (1969 only), and heat-welded pattern reclining (1970 onward), each use completely different cover patterns that are not interchangeable. The 1969 seat is the rarest type and must be identified carefully before ordering.
Seat Covers & Headrests Interior Components
Covers are manufactured by Newton Commercial in the UK, using authentic patterns recreated from original samples with UK-sourced materials. Each cover set includes the base cover, back cover, and the necessary fixings. The covers are designed to be fitted over new or refurbished foam cushions, fitting new covers over collapsed original foam will result in a wrinkled, unsupported appearance that does not do justice to the quality of the covers.
Exchange Service
Headrests were introduced during the 1970 production run in two styles: the D-section profile (1970 to late 1977) and the pear-shaped profile (late 1977 onward). Replacement headrests are available in both leather and vinyl in both profile shapes, in the full colour range. Headrest covers allow a worn headrest to be recovered without replacing the entire unit. Reconditioned exchange seats, professionally re-upholstered with refurbished frames, new foam, new back boards, and new diaphragms, are available for owners who want a complete seat renewal without sourcing individual components.
