Classic Mini Coolant Hoses

Coolant hose layouts changed with each major revision to the cooling system. Carburettor, SPi and MPi models each require specific hose configurations matched to their radiator position, thermostat housing and ancillary layout. The MPi changeover in 1997 introduced an entirely new hose arrangement that bears no relation to the side-mounted system. Replacing hoses as a complete set is recommended, age-related deterioration typically affects all hoses equally, and internal degradation can restrict flow without visible external signs.
